Congratulations to the winner of the $100 Award for July 2002: Carolyn O'Brien, from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA. She was the most regular contributor of ideas in July, submitting accepted ideas during 3 weeks of the month, as well as during 2 weeks in June. Although the winner should submit at least one idea each week during the month, she was the first contributor to nearly meet the requirement, and therefore an exception was made to honor her consistent contributions.

On accepting her award, she says, "I am disabled and I am glad that there is a place where I can voice my opinions and ideas about how to make a wheelchair-bound person's life easier."
